12 - 16 September 2018 House admission applies For the first time Carrick Hill’s annual flower show will focus on Australian native flowers and foliage. Come along and see amazing Australian blooms throughout the house. The arrangements will be expertly crafted by Carrick Hill volunteers, The Petals, along with the Woodville Academy of Floral Design, SA Members of Sogetsu Ikebana, Caroline Wotton from The Flower Room and the Australian Plant Society.

Stories by the Stables
Carrick Hill is pleased to have the South Australian Branch of The Children’s Book Council of Australia presenting Stories by the Stables during the school holidays. Come and join us for a fun morning of stories and paper craft on the stable lawns. The event is aimed at 4 - 8 year olds and children should bring their own cushions. Seating will be provided for adults. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Carrick Hill Garden Team, led by Head Gardener Neil Waters, has developed a new section in the Children's Storybook Trail using themes, imagery and native plants depicted by May Gibbs in her highly successful 20th century children's books.
