As we are all aware, the tragic bushfires happening around our country have truly shown how strong and generous our community can be when we come together.
In light of this, the Hurley Hotel Group will be running a donation drive in all of their hotels with the goal of raising $50,000 for BlazeAid, in order to support Australians and those close to home in South Australia.
The $50,000 donation will go directly to BlazeAid and buying materials to re-build 20km of fences and other farm infrastructure that may have been destroyed in the bushfires. To put it into perspective, the going rate for fencing is approximately $10,000 per km. However, thanks to the support of volunteers, BlazeAid can replace their fencing at a fraction of the cost.
Customers can donate loose change into the tins displayed on bars and/or add a $2 donation (or more) to their order at the tills in all Hurley Hotels across Metropolitan and Regional South Australia.
The Hurleys will be matching every dollar customers donate to reach the $50,000 target.

The Alma Tavern, also owned by the Hurley Hotel Group, are currently running their own promotion with $1 from every main meal purchased until Sunday 12th January being donated to BlazeAid.
