The Adelaide Make-A-Wish Gala Ball, presented by Lexus of Adelaide, returns to celebrate 21 years with a winter-themed extravaganza.
On Friday, 18th August, Adelaide Oval’s William Magarey Room will be transformed into a shimmering winter wonderland in helping raise money for the respected children’s foundation.
Naming rights sponsor Lexus of Adelaide returns for its fifth year, and General Manager, Wade Sander, says the night will be one to remember.
“We’re thrilled to return as Naming Right sponsor for another year. The Make-A-Wish Gala Ball is an incredibly uplifting fundraising event, and positively contributes to the health and wellbeing of all the children and families involved.”
The Make-A-Wish Foundation hopes to raise more than $125,000 across the event, to grant 25 cherished wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Chair of the Make-A-Wish Adelaide Gala Ball Committee, Frank Jackowiak, says, “Money raised in Australia goes directly to Make-A-Wish Australia. The charity aims to grant 500 wishes a year, with between 30-50 magical wishes being granted here in South Australia.”
A general ticket to the event for $190 includes a three-course dinner with beer, fine wines, champagne & soft drinks.
Entertainment will be provided from All About Her and Entertainment Adelaide, ensuring plenty of reasons to be awed before having a boogie on the dancefloor.
The foundation, now in its 38th year, will benefit from an event auction run by LJ Hooker Auctioneer, Troy Tyndall. It will include prizes such as luxury holidays, exclusive experiences and two nights’ accommodation in Sofitel’s exclusive Presidential Suite, generously donated by Sofitel, Adelaide.
More than 400 guests are expected to attend the highly anticipated event on Adelaide’s social calendar.
Guests are encouraged to add a splash of winter glam to their outfit, whether a shimmering headpiece a la Frozen, long-sleeved gown or fur coat.
