Cabaret Fringe Review: CabLive ★★★★

Stroll into the boujie 60’s lounge at The Piccadilly in North Adelaide, for an intimate evening of CabLive, the unofficial artist bar of the Cabaret Fringe Festival.

Over the course of the evening we were treated to a taster of five sensational cabaret acts. From our delicious host Dolly Diamond, to the talented Nate Franco on the piano.

Acapella group, Allegria joined in for a few songs and honestly made my night. The ladies filled the room with their playful harmony and sass, and I simply loved the cheek between the group and Dolly… there’s certainly more collaborations to come there…

The pink cowgirl Lucy Lastik entertained us, coming all the way from the wild wild west of Brompton with her hilariously improper country ballads.

The night finished with cabaret sensation Jamie Alexandra performing Dolly Parton’s hit Joelene, which was quite the family affair with her grandmother watching on from the audience.

At just $15 CabLive is AMAZING value for money. Book your tickets, grab your winter coat and get yourself out for an evening of theatrical delight at The Piccadilly Lounge.

Don’t delay as the Cab Fringe Fest is only on until Sunday 4th June. Book now!
