Massaoke Club La La – Adelaide Fringe 2018 ★★★★★
Start warming up those vocal cords because the crew of Massaoke are back for the 2018 Adelaide Fringe Festival, & what a night out they have planned for you!

For those living under a rock or who haven’t had the pleasure of going to Massaoke, imagine all your favourite songs played live on stage, with the lyrics projected onto a screen in the background, so you can sing-a-long & never miss a beat! This is karaoke – Fringe style! The idea is that you let out your inner Whitney or Bon Jovi & sing along to all the classics with the rest of the crowd. And boy, do they get the crowd going – just like your old school choir days, x100 & on steroids!

The Massaoke guys clearly know how to please the local Australian crowd with renditions of “Horses”, “Land Down Under” & of course our unofficial national anthem – “You’re the Voice”. They also surprised us with some special guests from other Fringe shows. Each night they have a different Fringe performer grace the Massaoke stage & show us their singing chops.

There is mass crowd participation, & certain songs you have the option of voting for what you want to sing along to.
This is the third time that the UK based lads have made it down under for the Adelaide Fringe Festival, & the third time I’ve seen them (I just keep coming back for more!) Judging by the crowd response, we will all be aching for them to come back in 2019. Until then, we will be relegated to practicing in the car & shower in anticipation for next year!

With one week left of the Adelaide Fringe, do yourself a favour & have a night out with the Massaoke crew, you won’t regret it – until maybe the next morning!
