SPENDLESS SHOES EXPANDS ITS FOOTPRINT IN RUNDLE MALL

Spendless Shoes has relocated its city store in Rundle Mall. Opening today, Thursday, 1st June, the long-awaited flagship store is a short move from their previous James Place location to Rundle Mall’s western side (directly across from Uniqlo).

It’s a well-timed upgrade for the brand that started its name in South Australia, with the Adelaide CBD store as one of its oldest outlets.

Jaimee Charlton, Spendless Shoes Chief Operating Officer, says, “We’re really excited about the new look and feel shop front for our Adelaide CBD store. We’ve had our eye on this location for a while and we have invested to ensure our customers get the best in-store experience.”

Spendless Shoes has adapted to the changing nature of the retail experience, embracing online shopping with click and collect options in recent years. This evolvement sparked a branding change which now aligns with the sleek online experience shoppers are used to.

A facelift from the current CBD store sees the Rundle Mall location increase in size and feel, more friendly to the customer with a spacious fit out.

Sales are expected to be strong in a more prominent location, bringing new shoppers to the space as well as retaining regular customers.

Now employing more than 1,000 staff across 210 stores nationwide, Spendless Shoes is investing in new shopfronts as a reflection of a redefined company objective.

But the veteran shoe retailer, which began with one store in Glenelg in 1988, still promises that ‘it feels good to Spendless.’

Spendless offers a variety of shoes for all members of the family as a one-stop shop for all shoe needs across the four seasons.

Spendless Shoes will celebrate with a launch party on Tuesday, 6th June with invited guests enjoying beverages by 23rd Street Distillery and shoe giveaways.
