Spring Racing Carnival

From this Saturday, 14th October through to Saturday, 11th November, fierce races from across Australia will stop Adelaide in its tracks to create spring magic, along with trackside food, fashion, and entertainment.

Considered to be one of Adelaide’s most glamorous events, the Spring Racing Carnival is where the sun shines and the parties get bigger and bigger.

The 2023 Spring Racing Carnival at Morphettville commences with Guinness on Guineas Day this Saturday, 14th October followed by:

* Caulfield Cup – Saturday, 21st October
* Cox Plate – Saturday, 28th October
* Victoria Derby Day – Saturday, 4th November
* Melbourne Cup – Tuesday, 7th November
* Stakes Day – Saturday, 11th November

Guinness on Guineas Day will feature entertainment where the party continues long after the last race. U2 cover band Vertigo will perform live to transport revellers into a Dublin-verse for an Irish Pub experience.

Caulfield Cup Day also boasts The Everest, the richest race on turf, featuring premium champagne offerings, while Cox Plate, known as a preview to Australia’s greatest race, has a consistent following sure to attract a crowd. Featuring bespoke tailoring consultations, a live DJ, arcade and lawn games and the new Heineken Garden in Flourish, this is a day out for the gents.

Victoria Derby Day sees punters in their black and white finest with the ability to compete in ‘Croser Fashions on the Field’ for Best Suited or Best Dressed, while Melbourne Cup Day, the race that stops the nation, will see an excess crowd of 5500.

Stakes Day caps off a bumper program, all events with varied hospitality packages, showcasing the best in local SA produce, are available for group bookings and tailored to families with a jumping castle and petting zoo.

Flourish, a unique, lush space adjacent to the track, will be in full bloom – accessible to all guests over the carnival.
