Tasmania’s favourite bakery opens its first South Australian store in Glenelg

Australia’s much beloved Banjo’s Bakery Café is now open in Glenelg at Shop 1/15 Moseley Square.

For more than three decades, Banjo’s Bakery Café has served delicious baked goods to its customers and those with a sweet tooth. With more than 30 stores in its home state of Tasmania, the successful bakery café franchise also has stores across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

The new Glenelg bakery and breakfast spot provides a range of freshly made pastries, sweets, sandwiches, coffee, tea and more, plus catering. Breakfast items include croissants, brioche and toasties. It also boasts traditional breads, speciality breads and rolls including delicious pitas and pull-a-parts.

Banjo’s Bakery Café Owner, Tony New, says “Our Banjo’s philosophy results in a large number of loyal customers, many of whom make a visit to Banjo’s part of their daily routine.

“Everything we sell is made fresh on site by our bakers every single day. We bake a superior loaf and our bread is still made the traditional way, preservative free, fresh, soft and delicious,” says Tony New.

With plans to bring more of its bakeries to South Australia, Banjo’s Glenelg Sales Manager, James Lamont, says, “It’s very exciting to be a part of the team bringing this delight to South Australia. I’m so impressed with the quality of the Banjo’s product and I think the people of Adelaide will be too.”
